Keeping Carers in Mind

Our 'Keeping Carers in Mind' service offers advice, help, support and training to carers who are in employment or seeking to get back into employment, enabling carers to achieve and maintain their desired level of independence.

We also work with carers and employers to look at how employers can support a member of staff who also has a caring role. This could be by acting as a mediator, supporting carers to talk to employers about their role as a carer and how this may impact on their paid employment.
