We Are Recruiting 

Part Time Key Worker - Connect 3

29.6 hours (4 days)    £17,556 - £21,043 (pro rata)

*This post is initially for 12 months with the potential for extension (subject to funding)

Sheffield Mind delivers the Connect 3 service working in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA). Connect 3 is a mental health service focussed on supporting people with their housing and Sheffield Mind works with people in their own tenancies, who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

The service is responsive to client choice and need; enables them to live as independently as possible; maximises the control they have over their lives through taking charge of decisions that affect them.

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to promoting peoples mental health in addition to an understanding of the needs and issues that can present for people relating to everyday life and in particular, their housing.

We welcome applications from across the community and in particular from minority ethnic groups. Access to, and the use of, a car is of particular use in this role.

Support Workers - Support and Recovery Service 

1 x 3 days (22.2 hours) - Permanent     1 x Full time (37 hours) – Fixed term – 21st January – 31st May 2019

£16,572- £16,969 per year (pro rata)

We are looking for Support Workers to join our Support & Recovery Service. Our Support & Recovery Service provides support to people to work towards their recovery and help them live independent and fulfilling lives. The roles are community based and requires evening and weekend work.

Previous experience of supporting people with mental health problems, formally or informally, is essential to the role. A commitment to service user involvement and an ability to communicate with a wide range of people is also required.
